Paint, Sculpt Shoot Evergreen

The Center for the Arts Evergreen is proud to present the third annual Paint, Sculpt, Shoot Evergreen. This event is a true collaboration between the Center, the Evergreen galleries, downtown businesses, and the participating artists to inspire and educate the community about the process of making art.
This exciting event begins with Create with a View on Saturday, August 30th at a mountain cabin with a view of Mt. Evans. Artists will create works of art from 7:00am to 3:00pm.
The much anticipated Paint, Sculpt, “Shoot Out” will be held on Saturday, September 6th from 10:00am to 5:00pm throughout downtown Evergreen and the Lake House. The community is invited to celebrate Evergreen, inside and out, with artists creating art throughout the downtown area. Works of art will be available for immediate purchase and will benefit both the artist and the Center for the Arts. Local businesses are providing lunch to the artists and opening their doors to this downtown event.
Quick Create and Live Auction will be held at the Center for the Arts on Saturday, September 13th from 8:00am to 5:00pm. Artists will be creating works of art in all mediums and the public is invited to watch the artists from 9:00am to 2:00pm. The party will begin at 2:00pm with beverages and snacks. Everyone will have a chance to bid on the works of art created that day by participating in our live action, which begins at 3:00pm.
The month-long events will culminate in a collaborative exhibition in all of Evergreen’s art galleries. Juror, Don Sahli, will select award winners from the exhibition, who will be recognized at the openings on Friday, September 26th from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. Don’t miss this opportunity to view artwork that was inspired by the beauty that surrounds Evergreen. This exhibit will take place at the Center for the Arts Evergreen, Evergreen Fine Art, The Evergreen Gallery, Shadow Mountain Gallery, Silver Arrow, StoneHeart Gallery, Timberline Gallery, and the Wild Eye Gallery.
