Self Expression
In this clay workshop you will be creating a small sculpture as a self -portrait
or emotional piece to represent an occasion or transition in your life. During
the first workshop you will design and create the piece. Then during the second
workshop you will paint or glaze your sculpture. (Afterwards, you will need
to leave your new creation for firing and arrange to pick it up the following
week.) This will be a fun, exciting and exploratory workshop that you won’t
want to miss! Supply list to be provided.

Voyage through Art
Travel with us through China for panda bears in clay, to southwestern art
appreciation in pastels. Then climb aboard to read Zen lessons by author Jon
Muth and create watercolors based on our sight seeing. We will travel through
slab exploration, building collaborative clay houses, then back to the southwest
to visit Georgia O’keefe in acrylic paint! We’ll cover lots of
land and tour a variety of mediums, collecting lots of souviners to bring
home!
