Summerfest – July 21st & 22nd, 2012, 10am-5pm

There is nothing better than Evergreen in the summer with its sun filled days and gentle mountain breezes. People love coming out for community events to meet up with old friends and make new ones. For 33 years, Summerfest has been a highlight event in the mountain community, and it just keeps getting better every year. Join us on July 21st and 22nd for a weekend of fun at the Buchanan Park athletic fields. Hours are 10am-5pm both Saturday and Sunday. Admission to the festival is $2 for adults; children are free.

Summerfest features a fabulous selection of gallery quality fine art and fine crafts chosen by a jury process, a children’s area to engage the younger visitors, performances by local favorites to add to the festival spirit, and a Beer & Wine Garden to compliment the wonderful food selection. Summerfest is known for our beautiful mountain setting, bringing in a dedicated art buying crowd, and offering the best support services for our artist vendors.

Summerfest is hosted by the Center for the Arts Evergreen, a nonprofit organization whose mission is “To promote and cultivate artistic excellence in the visual and performing arts in order to enrich the art experience in our mountain community.” Proceeds from Summerfest go to support arts programming year-round.

No smoking or pets are allowed at the festival site.
