Summerfest
July 20th & 21st, 10am-5pm

Summerfest is a two-day fine art and craft festival held outdoors in Evergreen, CO, which kicks off Arts Alive Evergreen, a 10-day showcase event featuring the best of Evergreen's visual and performing arts.

Summerfest provides a weekend of fun for the whole family with 125 artist vendors from across the country, local food, music, exciting performances, and a craft area to keep the children entertained. And new for 2013, Center for the Arts Evergreen expands the scope of the festival to include celebrating the craft of beer with a beer tasting event called Palette of Brews.

Evergreen’s very first beer tasting event will feature fifteen Colorado microbreweries serving unlimited tastes to ticket holders as part of Summerfest on July 20th & 21st, 11am to 5pm. The event takes place only five minutes off I-70 in Evergreen at the Buchanan Park Athletic Fields (at Hwy 74 & Squaw Pass Rd.).

Your ticket to the unlimited tastes is only $20 for online advanced sales and $25 at the festival. Tickets information will be available June 1st. The palette of microbreweries includes AC Golden Brewing Company, Avery Brewing, Colorado Cider Company, Grimm Brothers Brew House, Hardtail Brewing, Hall Brewing, Left Hand Brewing Company, Odell Brewing Company, Oskar Blues, Pateros Creek Brewing Company, Prost Brewing, Strange Brewing, Tivoli Beer Company, Trinity Brewing Company, and Upslope Brewing Company.

General admission to the festival is $2 for adults; children are free. It is just a 25 minute drive from downtown Denver. Parking locations include most of the adjacent Buchanan Rec Center lots, the office park lots south of the Buchanan Ponds off of Castle Ct., the RTD lot north of the festival, and the back parking lots at Bergen Village with a shuttle right to the festival.

No smoking or pets are allowed at the festival site.
