Steve Sumner

Steve Sumner, Executive Director of the Center for the Arts Evergreen, has been involved with the visual and performing arts throughout his entire career. Sumner is a designer and visual artist; he has a B.S. in design and photography from the University of Michigan and an MFA in painting and printmaking from the University of Massachusetts. Sumner has been a professor of art and senior university administrator. He remains today a strong advocate for arts education and arts in the schools.  Sumner has an extensive record of exhibitions and awards, and his work has been shown in over 70 national and international one-person and group exhibitions. He has juried a number of national exhibitions and art festivals.

 

 

Becky Guy

Becky Guy, Director of Exhibitions for the Center for the Arts Evergreen Becky Guy grew up in Golden, Colorado and always had a love for dance, drawing, painting, and crafting. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Communication from the University of Puget Sound before returning to Colorado and managing an art gallery in Cherry Creek. After traveling the U.S. for 4 months, she settled in Eugene, Oregon and received her Master’s Degree in Arts Administration and Certificate in Nonprofit Management from the University of Oregon. She was the Exhibits Director at a visual arts organization there and started an Artist Services Program to help artists with their professional development. In 2008, Becky moved back to Colorado to accept the Director of Events and Exhibits position at the Center for the Art Evergreen.

 

Jonathan Nicklow

Jonathan Nicklow, Director of Educational Programming and Community Outreach for the Center for the Arts Evergreen, is an artist and educator.  Jonathan has a BFA in Painting from Savannah College of Art and Design and an MFA in printmaking from University of Colorado Boulder. http://jnicklow.wordpress.com/
