Job Opening: Director of Education/Coordinator of Art Festivals
Individual will help to develop a sound education program for CAE; design class and camp schedules; solicit and contract teachers and produce the class schedule; and be responsible for the maintenance of classrooms, studios and supplies. The individual will also have
the responsibility of coordinating both of CAE's two major arts festivals, Summerfest and Winterfest; soliciting artist vendors and food vendors; obtaining permits; securing rental of venues and work with the Director of Marketing on designing festival publicity, marketing
strategies and graphics. Candidates must have advanced computer skills; attention to detail and have a good knowledge of art educational practices and of art materials and mediums. Individual must be a self-starter and possess excellent organizational, communication, and
people - friendly skills. Candidate must be able to work within a small nonprofit organization and be willing to help with other responsibilities and tasks as needed or as assigned by the executive director.
